My favourite Sepultura album is SCHIZOPHRENIA, the riffs in this album are totally killer. BENEATH THE REMAINS is awesome too, but I prefer by far MORBID VISIONS. I don't really like ARISE, the songs are boring IMO, especially DEAD EMBRYNIOC CELLS... I just like the title track and a few others. The BESTIAL DEVASTATION EP is fucking freaky too, I really love it. I bought a version of MORBID VISIONS/BESTIAL DEVASTATION on «Les Champs Élysés» in PARIS, one week ago.

on another note:
no one seems to like Arise, but I think the song "Arise" is killer as well as a couple other tracks from that album

Agreed on both counts. Arise is a pretty decent album and one of my favourite SEPULTURA releases.

Just listening to Arise.

Fuck, what an album. This album has it all, the thrashiness of Schizo and Beneath, the atmosphere and originality of Chaos and Roots, plus it's own special personality.

I love this album. What a great peice of music from 91', a time when things had become lame in a big way.

Arise will always be my favorite Sepultura album.
