I personally think EOG is a good album. About it not being thrash as someone said, well, I wonder what thrash should sound like. Many of you are so biased by some old stuff that surely sounded rawer and faster that don't realize some other bands with a very similar sound to what Kreator is doing now were considered thrash back then.

Dudes, there were tons of bands that were thrash metal bands and that were also very melodic.

And about the "I want to kill you" lyrics being cheesy, oh! surprise, check out this one...

Reality check: Kreator has changed and it is not pure thrash anymore. And after hearing the latest Destruction soundclips it sadly looks like another thrash legend has gone the way of the dodo...Thankfully there are still lots of talanted, second generation bands that still have that spirit of the 80's in them, when thrash was pure and unpolluted by all that nu metal shit and melo crap that saturates the scene today, and they will carry on the torch in the name of thrash metal.

man, ive been trying to get into this Drunkard, but i never get back around to them. i will say that i wish more of the newer thrash bands had unique vocalists that arent trying to sound like mille petrozza or quorthon. i can only a few really good new thrash bands that have vocalists that bring a unique presense to the band. Postmortom (Nevada) is definitly one of them

SCHMIER. i FINALLY got to hear about half of the new album at a party this weekend, and i have to say its my favorite DESTRUCTION album since you guys got back together so far. i cant wait to hear the rest of it.

LIGHTEN UP!!! damn, i sometimes think im a bit too cirtical of bands, but i see everyone else is as well. i could understand why someone else gets pissed off at some of other peoples musical criticism. lets just all remember why we like music in the first place. im beginning to seriously take opinions with a grain of salt, and not be too opinionated in my own right... i was at a weekend long bachelor party this weekend. i brought my ipod. my ipod is loaded with metal (mostly thrash) and hardcore/punk. i was a bit of a hog with the stereo, and people at the party started bitching about "too much heavy shit." these are the people that got me into "heavy shit" when i was a kid. now they all listen to pop punk and "soft shit" (haha). needless to say, i wasnt going to bitch and whine like they were and possibly ruin the party. so i let them play what they wanted until my drummer (the bachelor whom the party was thrown for) bitched to hear something heavy. im going to apply my attitude there to my attitude talking to anyone about music anymore. im not going to "ruin the party." theres a reason people like different things, and we should all respect that.

i think kreator did a fine job with the last album, it just hasnt grown on me yet. lets face it, things change, and people dont always like change. change is sometimes for the better though, and only time can tell. cheers to all!!!
