I was lucky to see Pantera in Moscow in 1991.
It was my FIRST metal concert, I've been at

Yeah, I'm lucky. I have tons of sweet memories about this show. We runned away of the lectures with my friends of university. We hadn't tickets and we climbed into the hole in the fence  .
It was great show! AC/DC, Pantera, Metallica and Black Crowes :evilbat:

I listened recently to old Pantera. And I liked it!

I don't remember at all what Power Metal sounds like, have to listen it. But i love Cowboys From Hell and Vulgar Display of Power! I also think that the rest of Pantera's discography is good too.

Hmmmm, allright, I'll agree with you when we're talking about Priests era- from Screaming to Vengeance up to (and included) Ram it Down. 0X

I always thought this band had a weak, thin guitar sound. I never got into them at all. I had friends who used to try to get me into them, but I never liked anything they did. I agree with Violator about them influencing nu metal and what I like to call "shout metal" bands. Give me old school speed and thrash anyday.

I like glammy Pantera better, their Metal Magic.
